Started in 1976 and incorporated in 1981, Label Specialties, Inc. is recognized nationwide as a leading manufacturer of scale labels used in Avery Berkel and other label printing scale brands as well as being a recognized provider of additional labeling and barcode solutions used in many diverse industries. These industry segments include supermarket and food retailers, food wholesalers, processors of cheese, meat, poultry, seafood, and other food products, equipment and supplies distributors, warehousing and distribution, electronics, entertainment, manufacturing, medical, nursery, apparel, and packaging, to name just a few. In addition to labels for Avery Berkel scale models, LSi also manufactures supermarket scale labels for printing scales manufactured by Atron, Acom, Bizerba, CAS, Digi, Exact Equipment, Globe Food Equipment, Hobart, Ishida, Kubota, Mettler Toledo, Toshiba TEC, Tor-Rey, and Weldotron in order to label bakery, deli, meat, and other food packages. LSi manufacturers both stock and custom direct thermal labels and thermal transfer labels used in other types of direct thermal label printers and thermal transfer label printers as well as custom labels and tags for most every application. Additionally, LSi supplies thermal transfer ribbons, label & tag printers, in-line label applicators, labeling software, products for barcode scanning and verification, RFID devices, portable data terminals, and point of sale (POS) equipment. LSi is a certified “PartnerSelect” Symbol Technologies distributor, and LSi has factory trained and certified repair technicians for repairing and servicing Datamax, Sato, and Zebra brand label printers which we also distribute.
